Vehicle color change

2 days + 1 exam day (12 months later)

  • Training dedicated to teaching installers how to install 3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080 and use 3M™ Knifeless Tape.

  • On the third day, installers have the option to continue their training or take a five-step installation test if they feel confident with their skills.

  • Students who are new to the industry (or who have less than a year of experience) are advised not to take the test.

  • Additional registration is required to take the final exam. Training is not required to take the test, but it is strongly recommended.

  • Installers who successfully complete this test will earn the 3M Vehicle Color Change Preferred Installer accreditation.

THE COURSE INCLUDES:

  • Specific methodologies for difficult areas
  • Finishing and post-processing
  • Warranty, maintenance, servicing

Paint protection film

2 days + 1 exam day (12 months later)

  • Training for the installation of 3M™ Paint Protection Film Series 100 and 200.

  • The skills acquired during this training will allow you to increase your productivity and apply film consistently to vehicles.

  • Additional registration is required to take the final exam. Training is not required to take the test, but it is strongly recommended. Students who are new to the industry (or who have less than a year of experience) are advised not to take the test.

  • Installers who pass this test will earn a certificate and the designation 3M™ Paint Protection Film Preferred Installer.

Automotive Window Film

2 days + 1 exam day (12 months later)

  • Training for installing 3M™ Automotive Window Film. Includes a special section dedicated to the 3M™ Crystalline Series.

  • Additional registration is required to take the final exam. Training is not required to take the test, but it is strongly recommended. Students who are new to the industry (or who have less than a year of experience) are advised not to take the test.

  • Installers who pass this test will earn the “3M Preferred Installer for Automotive Window” accreditation.

3 days + 2 exam days (12 months later)

  • Training designed to improve your installation proficiency and ensure your applications exceed your customer’s expectations.

  • Installers have the option to take the rigorous installation tests if they feel confident in their skills. 3M recommends that only experienced installers attempt these demanding tests.

  • Additional registration is required to take the final exams. Training is not required to take the test, but it is strongly recommended.

  • Successful testing confers the titles of either 3M Windows, Walls & Floors Preferred Installer and 3M Fleet Preferred Installer. You will be listed on the 3M Installer Locator and granted use of specific 3M branding items to convey your proven proficiencies.

  • Installers who pass this test will earn the 3M Preferred Installer for Window, Wall & Floor accreditation.

This training is designed to provide installers with the tools and techniques necessary to confidently apply 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Coatings in interior and exterior design environments.

  • Installers have the option to take the rigorous installation test if they feel confident in their skills. 3M recommends that only experienced installers attempt these demanding tests.

  • Additional registration is required to take the final exam. Training is not required to take the test, but it is strongly recommended.

  • Installers who pass this test will earn the 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer accreditation and will allow you to be listed in the 3M Installer Directory.
